Wineries & Wine Tours
Penticton and the South Okanagan are famous for wineries and the wine culture. The South Okanagan has over 20 wineries, so if you’re into doing some wine tours this fall there are plenty to choose from.
The golf courses are still open in the fall, but there isn’t much time left to hit the link and get some golfing in before winter comes. Visit the Penticton Golf & Country Club or any of the other amazing golf courses in Penticton.
Okanagan Lake & Skaha Lake are both beautiful lakes and are perfect for boating and fishing. The water may be a little cooler but you can still get out on the lakes and get some fishing in.
There are numerous hiking, downhill biking and road biking trails in Penticton and the south Okanagan. The fall is great for hiking as the temperature is a little bit cooler and the change in the leaves make the trails look beautiful.
Some people may not like the cold and rainy weather so there are plenty of things to do indoors in Penticton, like the South Okanagan Events Centre. This 5000 seat arena is the Okanagan’s premier sports and entertainment venue. Home to the Penticton Vees Junior “A” hockey team. There’s always something to see and do at the SOEC.
